Poet, Western painter.
He was a figurative artist until the early 1950s, and then turned to poetic abstract painting. Selected as one of the top three in the 1956 World Today Art Exhibition, a traveling exhibition by six contemporary Japanese artists.
In 1960, exhibited at the Guggenheim Prize Art Exhibition in New York.
In 1979, a traveling exhibition of three artists - Kenzo Okada, Kazuichi Tsudaka, and Toko Shinoda - was held in the United States.
Passed away on January 17, 1995 in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
A very lovely abstract painting on a plate.
This piece is thought to have been painted in the Moriyasu kiln, as there is Moriyasu Kimura's stamp on the cloth.
Recommended for those who like ceramics.
