Cloisonné is the technique of decorating metal with a glassy glaze, and the products made using it are called cloisonné.
Cloisonné techniques from the Meiji period were extremely advanced, and unfortunately some techniques are said to be impossible to reproduce today.

The technique of decorating mainly on a metal by baking a glassy glaze over it, and the products produced, is known as cloisonne.
The cloisonne technique of the Meiji era was so advanced therefore unfortunately some techniques cannot be reproduced nowadays.
